Amid protected and restored historical buildings, ambitious renovation and new construction projects and new streets and squares are springing up. Historic buildings such as the Noorderpershuis and new initiatives such as the Red Star Line Museum, promenades and the green Cadix Square create a dynamic atmosphere and make the Cadix neighbourhood an investment with guaranteed returns.

Since 2020, the Cadix neighbourhood has regained its original function as a residential area by the port and is revived as never before.
